Membership - Associate (2012 - 2013)
Associates enjoy all the same benefits of Equity Members with only
two exceptions. Associates do not have voting privileges and may not
become a Board member. Major benefits are:
* Participation in all leagues
* Participation in Member Special Event Scrambles.
* Reduced Cart Rental Rates.
* Use of privately owned cart with payment of yearly trail fees.

Membership - Equity Guidelines
The Venice East Golf Association (VEGA) membership yearly schedule is from October 1 of the current year, through September 30 of the next year. Annual
dues are due October 1st and prorated on a schedule determined by the date a member signs up.
To Join the VEGA, prospective member must be interviewed and approved by the Membership Committee, and upon final approval by the Board of Directors,
purchase a Proprietary Certificate (PC) and pay a one-time Imitation Fee.
Value: The value assigned to each Certificate of the Association, is periodically reviewed and fixed by the Board of Directors by a two-thirds vote of its
members. The current value is Thirty Five Hundred ($3500.00) dollars.
Redemption: VEGA BY-LAWS state, "Whenever any person shall desire to redeem a Certificate, due to resignation or death, redemption of the Certificate
shall be made upon acceptance of a replacement golfer or subject to the minimum number of Certificate holders as determined by the Board. Upon
receipt of the Certificate the current value to the surrendered Certificate, less any indebtedness to the Association shall be paid to the former owner or his/her
estate".
Equity Members own ONE share in the VEGA and have VOTING rights. They may also run for and win a position on the VEGA Board of Directors, if voted in by
the overall membership at the Annual meeting held in February of each year.

as an EQUITY or ASSOCIATE member and enjoy the least expensive
golf play in the area. Call the Clubhouse for an appointment.
* Annual dues are $712 for a family of two and $478 for a single
member. For that minimal cost, members can play as often as they
wish, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
* Enjoy 9 scrambles each year, playing for prizes such as; closest to
the pin, lowest scores, etc., and enjoy all you want of deliciously
prepared foods. Through a lucky draw of tickets, win unique gifts.
Enjoy a relaxing and friendly time exchanging golf stories with old and
new friends and other golfing associates.
