DESCRIPTION: In 1961, a Public Golf Course, designed by Roy Albert Anderson, was
built on 52 acres in beautiful Venice, FL.
In 1983, a private group of dedicated golfers dreamed one day of owning their own golf
course. They purchased the course and formed the Venice East Golf Association
(VEGA).
Venice East Golf Course (VEGC) is a Semi-Private, 18-Hole Member Owned Executive
Course. Public is welcome except when Weekly Membership Leagues and other
Special Events are playing. Click on the above "Events/Hours Tab" for course availability
and hours.
We cater to the Beginner, the Experienced, the Young and the Senior Golfer. Driving
Range customers will enjoy our mat and all-natural turf range, free practice putting
green, sand trap and chipping areas.
Visit Venice East and you will be delighted by our well-maintained fairways and greens,
customer service and affordability.
YARDAGE: Its 2781 yards, Par 57 of demanding golf have more then fulfilled all of its
member's dreams, providing them & public golfers with many years of challenging and
fun- filled golf. Tee-Times are NOT required.
FEES: Fees are seasonal. We offer 10 and 6 play tickets, regular specials, and
currently a limited number of "Equity Memberships" are available. Associate
memberships are available with many of the benefits of Equity Membership.

members and the public with a variety of different teaching packages, designed to

RECREATION ROOM: After your game, Bragging time! Our clubhouse offers
Snacks, Sodas and Beer along with Television Recreation Facilitates to Relax, Cultivate
new friends, Renew old friends, play Cards & Replay all those shots you almost made,
